Florida Keys Fishing Specialist
Captain Randy Towe was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Randy started fishing when he was old enough to ride his bicycle to the local canals. Self-teaching and perseverance led him to the life of a fishing guide. “Fishing is a huge part of my life so I chose to call home one of the best fishing spots on the planet, the Florida Keys”.
Leading fishing excursions in both Offshore and Backcountry, Captain Randy has guided the winning angler 6 times in the Don Hawley Tarpon Tournament and has led anglers to victory every year in Sailfish, Swordfish, Tarpon, Dolphin and Wahoo tournaments; totaling 30 backcountry wins and over 20 offshore tournament wins.
Captain Randy is also a regular contributor to the Florida Insider Fishing Report TV show and is on the Pro-Staff of: AFTCO, Yamaha Outboards, Fin-Nor Reels, Flying Fisherman, and Rapala. He is proud to be the founder and principal designer of Pelagic Walkaround Yachts, a custom yacht builder focused on creating fishing-functional yachts for the passionate angler.
Captain Randy puts all his experience to work for his valued charter guests. Ranging from celebrities and notable figures to everyday families in town to the Florida Keys, Captain Randy’s guests are treated with a professional fishing experience built upon 30 years of fishing Islamorada and the Florida Keys.

In addition to being an award winning fishing captain, Randy also owns a store front where he manufactures quality hand made rods.
“Quality equipment is essential to being successful on the water, as a captain I found it difficult to find a rod that met my standards, so I started building my own; one thing led to another and my hobby turned into a fully operational company.” In order to share his knowledge with the world Randy created RT’s List, a cell phone application jam packed with fishing information for the Florida destination angler, complete with travel information in over 40 cities. It’s a must for every angler and traveler alike and is truly the last application you will ever need.
